FairyGene Supplier Legal & Ethical Compliance Policy

At FairyGene, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity, quality, and responsibility in every aspect of our business — including the suppliers we choose to work with. Our Supplier Code of Conduct sets forth the legal, ethical, and professional principles we expect all suppliers, manufacturers, subcontractors, and business partners to uphold while working with us. This Code is a critical part of our commitment to sustainability, human rights, and corporate social responsibility.

1. Legal Compliance

Suppliers must fully comply with all applicable international, national, and local laws and regulations in the countries where they operate. This includes, but is not limited to, laws concerning labor rights, occupational health and safety, environmental protection, product safety, anti-bribery, data protection, and fair competition.

2. Labor Standards and Human Rights

We expect all suppliers to respect and support the human rights of all workers. Specifically:

  • No use of child labor under the legal working age.

  • No use of forced, bonded, or involuntary labor.

  • Workers must be free to leave their employment after reasonable notice.

  • No harassment, abuse, discrimination, or intimidation of any kind.

  • Fair and legal wages must be paid, with proper working hours and rest periods.

  • Freedom of association must be respected, including the right to join trade unions.

3. Health, Safety & Working Conditions

Suppliers must provide a safe, clean, and healthy workplace for all employees. This includes:

  • Prevention of hazards and reduction of risks through training and protective equipment.

  • Access to clean drinking water, adequate sanitation, and emergency protocols.

  • Regular inspections, safety drills, and proper handling of chemicals and machinery.

  • Immediate action in response to occupational injuries or dangerous conditions.

4. Environmental Responsibility

FairyGene expects suppliers to actively minimize their environmental footprint and follow all environmental laws. Suppliers should:

  • Reduce waste, emissions, and pollution through sustainable practices.

  • Properly handle and dispose of hazardous materials.

  • Use energy and water responsibly.

  • Implement recycling and conservation initiatives where feasible.

5. Ethical Business Practices

Suppliers must conduct their business with integrity and honesty. This includes:

  • Zero tolerance for bribery, corruption, or unethical influence in any form.

  • Transparent and accurate recordkeeping for audits and accountability.

  • Fair marketing, truthful product labeling, and avoidance of counterfeiting.

  • No conflicts of interest in negotiations or partnerships with FairyGene.

6. Confidentiality & Intellectual Property

All suppliers must protect the confidential information and intellectual property shared by FairyGene. This includes:

  • Non-disclosure of proprietary formulas, designs, pricing, or business plans.

  • Use of confidential data only for purposes related to our contractual relationship.

  • No duplication, reverse-engineering, or unauthorized sharing of sensitive materials.

7. Product Quality & Safety

Suppliers are expected to maintain high standards of quality, consistency, and safety throughout the production process. All goods delivered must:

  • Meet the agreed-upon product specifications.

  • Be manufactured under safe and clean conditions.

  • Comply with all relevant safety and regulatory standards in destination markets.

  • Be traceable and subject to quality assurance protocols.

8. Monitoring & Enforcement

FairyGene reserves the right to evaluate supplier compliance through:

  • Scheduled or unscheduled audits.

  • Review of documentation and on-site inspections.

  • Termination of business relationships if violations are found and not corrected.

Suppliers are encouraged to maintain internal procedures for self-monitoring and continuous improvement. Any violation of this Code may result in investigation and corrective actions, including possible suspension or termination of the business relationship.
